‘UK broke renewable energy generation record in 2019, latest BEIS figures show.’

‘RenewableUK’s deputy chief executive Melanie Onn said the figures prove “confirm just how far we’ve come in the revolution in power generation”, given that renewable generation accounted for just 7% of the UK total a decade ago.’
It will be interesting to compare 2020 as many people have made the leap during the global pandemic due simply due to having the down time to weigh up the pros and cons! Green energy is a fantastic way to save money, use up any empty space and save the planet!
I believe we will continue to see an incline as the younger generation grow up and become home and business owners- people are finally beginning to see the true values of green energy and taking advantage of all the great things that come with it.
