Solar Portal Awards with TV’s George Clarke
Last week our Managing Director Simon attended the Solar Portal Awards, hosted by George Clarke of Amazing Spaces fame.
Our Guernsey Electricity project had been shortlisted for the Commercial Rooftop Solar Installation of the Year. The system consists of 309 roof-mounted solar panels and generates more than 100kWp of power. Find out more about the largest solar project in the Channel Islands here.
The 2018 ceremony was the first year that Solar Power Portal has shared the stage with sister publication Energy Storage News, with storage projects both in the UK and overseas recognised for their excellence. Liam Stoker, UK editor at Solar Media said, “We’ve once again been blown away by the number and quality of applications for this year’s awards, something we’re sure will continue next year.”
We weren’t winners this year but nonetheless delighted to have been shortlisted.
