World EV Day on September 9th
On September 9th, electric vehicle drivers will be able to charge their cars for FREE at charging stations in the UK.
FREECHARGE will encourage consumers to engage with and take notice of the charging infrastructure in their local area to shift perspectives about the accessibility of EV charging.
Perhaps free car charging one day a year would be something interesting to implement in Guernsey as a way to reward people who have already made the switch to electric and to hopefully encourage people to make the leap in future!
There are endless pros of changing to an electric vehicle:

Zero emissions
Maintenance savings
Extremely quiet
